Book Exhibition and Competition moving
Il Bosco Blu (blog about picture books, artist books and handmade editions) coordinated by Roberta Bridda, in collaboration with the Library Abracadabra and communicate them Ignasi Blanch the convening of the exhibition and contest moving picture book for spring 2010.
Purpose of the call: all kinds of handmade book, edited by hand, the sole or a small print run, take some kind of movement of the images on the cover or inside, flip-books, pop-up, theater books, roll books, books with flaps and moving visual effects etc.
Pictures can be original artwork, photographs, recordings and any other visual representation, for an adult audience and / or child. Books may have maximum dimensions of 30 x 30 x 30 cms.
Awards: prizes, consisting of books of illustration, are divided into 4 categories:
Award for best book
Flip Book Award for best motion
Curious Book Prize Award Sensitive Object
Term: Books will have to deliver, personally or by mail before February 28, 2010 at Abracadabra Bookshop, C / Gral. Álvarez de Castro 5 - 08003 Barcelona (Tel. / fax: 933 101 410).
Registration: To participate in the exhibition and competition, by way of registration, shall be paid 10 euros for the efforts of the event and its propaganda. You can pay by money order or bank transfer or even paying the fee in person at the library.
The jury awards and the books selected for the exhibition will be announced in March 2010 on the website and blog Abracadabra Il Bosco Blu
Jury: The jury made up of professionals and experts from the world of illustration and handmade edition.
In May 2010 it will open the exhibition at the Abracadabra Bookshop and the prizes awarded by the jury.
The winning and selected works will be exhibited at Abracadabra library for a month. The works will be sent by the authors, and their return for refund. We recommend using a returnable packaging for a refund.
The organization is not liable for any damages or losses that may occur during shipping and exposure.
